I found these tiny shells washed up on the shore, on a beautiful wind swept beach on the South Coast of England. They remind me of the sunny blustery day, walking with bare feet, sand between my toes, waves lapping the shore, pale golden sand, sun bleached grasses. They were popped deep in my pocket as a reminder of a beautiful walk, and nearly a year later I had them small batch cast in solid silver so I could use them in my jewellery.
Two small (approx 6mm across) winkle shells have been used to make earrings with solid silver posts and butterfly backs. Please note, I have 2 different kinds of shell stud earrings available. Please check other listings for variations in style.
